This shot shows the area west of Whitstable with
the Swale estuary in the top right corner.... but what about the
development in the foreground? Well, you may like some time to
guess.... before consulting our labelled extract....
It is, of course, the village of Blean - just
south of Whitstable.
A small section of Blean also features left of
centre in the wider shot below. In this case, the large area of
woodland in the foreground is Clowes Wood and we discuss this in
more detail in the South Street
section of the Aerial Photo feature.
