A fascinating group photo of the scout troop taken on Westmeads Recreation ground circa 1954. 

It was kindly contributed from Thailand by Cliff Cuttelle and it will cause a few heads to be scratched in naming the 86 members of the troop! It's also a lot of fun examining and discussing the background features.

Thanks to Ian Johnson and Nigel Robinson, we take a close look at a foundation stone set into the wall of Westmeads Infants School. This reveals yet more about local education history and the close knit Whitstable community.

We also take another look at Vicky Quinney's lovely 1966 sketch of Starvation Point. What does it look like today... and what could it have looked like if the buildings hadn't been demolished.
