Peter Cushing's
Lost Garden
Many will recall the stone wall that surrounded
the garden of Peter & Helen Cushing and the dovecote
that peeked over the top. Sadly, the garden has
disappeared but, thanks to John Harman, we can preserve a
little bit of lost history on Simply Whitstable and
discover how a replica dovecote may yet make an
appearance in John's garden in Canada.

The
Trocadero Cinema
Thanks to a wonderful memento from Ivan Knowles,
we take a look at the town's largest cinema of bygone
days. It's
fascinating stuff as we link the story to general cinema
history and the development of Tankerton.
