Margarett Emery's photos were taken in the vicinity of her home
at the
height of the cold spell. At that time, the snow was at its most
impressive and there was still some seasonal wildlife around......

The gardens and rooftops of Whitstable were quite a
picture with a snow depth of around 4-6 inches....

Of course, some plants look a little out of place but no less
attractive in such conditions.....

These shots will help ex-pat Natives to imagine what Queensland
might look like if it ever received a snowstorm.
More traditional are views of one of Whitstable's most
attractive features.....

Many thanks to Margarett for sharing these lovely scenes with
the readers of Simply Whitstable.
