Canterbury- Whitstable Rail Line at the Harbour

I would like to draw attention to a terrific new article kindly
produced for us by Terry Phillips. This traces the history of the
Crab & Winkle at Whitstable harbour...... including its
origins, how it worked, how it declined and what remains today.
Thanks go to Terry for all the work he has put in on our
behalf. I would also like to thank those who have kindly made
photos available. That includes Terry himself, Margarett Emery,
Jock Harnett, John Harman and Colin Scott-Morton.
