Introduction
Some of our ex-pat Natives may not realise that
the recent revamp of the Castle included the installation of
floodlighting and, just a few days after Halloween, we can give
them a glimpse of the spooky effects that have been created.
Shots taken on 11th November were snapped from the pavements of Tower
Hill as the grounds are closed in the evening. On that day, the floodlights
created a purple glow. Later on this page, we include additional
photos taken on the 19th November. These show some of the multi-coloured
capabilities of the floodlighting.

Above: The floodlighting has
been placed primarily on the west fascia and sides of the
Castle. Thus the east side remains untouched by the purple
effect. |

| Above & Below: These shots of the North
face show the sharp contrast between the purple glow of
the floodlighting compared to the softer yellow of the
normal lamplights. |
